Signed, complete proposals must be received by MTI at its office by 5 p.m. MTI Award Recipients in the News Federal Contract Award Winner Relied on MTI Seed Grants for Research and Development of Composite Textile Product Auburn Manufacturing, Inc. (AMI), of Mechanic Falls announced on January 12, 2009, that it had received two military contracts worth up to $7.8 million over several year for textile for extreme temperature industrial applications. Two MTI Seed Grants supported the research and development. Read the AMI press release that includes a link to television coverage. Separately, AMI commented that the MTI awards also led to unexpected benefits, for example, the next step of composite materials for institutional use to save energy in steam heating and cooling.
